HOUSTON CHAPTER - PREVENTING DISPUTES IN THE WORKPLACE

Increased awareness of the benefits of resolving workplace disputes before they reach the courtroom keeps employers looking for ways improve their alternative dispute resolution programs.
Nonsubscriber attorney Matthew McDonald will offer a case study that focuses on dispute prevention and explore the benefits of focusing on prevention and he added successes achieved by employers that aim to prevent disputes from occurring in the first place.
While the main focus of this program is to prevent nonsubscriber injury disputes, it can serve to prevent other workplace disputes as well, the benefits of which can include reducing litigation costs, reducing employee turnover, increased productivity and more.
Meeting locations are listed below. Registration and lunch will be offered from 11:30-12:00 followed by the presentation from 12:00-1:00. Reservations are required at least 48-hours prior to the event and all reservations are subject to acceptance. Space may be limited in certain cities and admittance is not guaranteed without a reservation. Meeting fees: $20 Member, $40 Non-Member. Meeting fees include lunch and no-shows will be billed.
